£450 for a new k03s turbo the £500 ish it get it hybrid thats at my local turbo place is tht about right? thats plus vat.

Chuff that!

Pick up a decent second hand k03 and get that converted, save a couple of hundred at least.

A k03 goes for next to nothing these days.

chuff that haha umm will a ko3 take the ko4 internals ?

Sure does mate, I1ve been running mine for a few months now.

I used my std k03 from when i went k03s.

So it makes zero difference if you use a k03 or a k03s?

Actuator should be replaced with an uprated 12-14psi item.

ask CR they might have a second hand one lieing around they did when they did mine charged me an extra £100 for it.

100 for a used k03 is thats cheap? worth a go tho as they are pretty much next door to me ill go in and ask cheers mate.

People need to be very careful here as the answer actually depends on what company carry out the hybrid conversion and what modifications they choose to do.

There can be a difference between using a K03 and K03S, see http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=231708&page=4

CR Turbos scrap the complete compressor housing and so it doesn't make any difference in this instance but other companies (i.e. Turbo Dynamics/JBS) modify the standard housing so there is a beneift in using a K03S over a standard K03 in this instance
