So nobody has figured out the other menu as yet?
I have a copy of how to access the GTI menu, should have a look for it as I suppose there is a fair chance it would have the same electronics

Okay... the following info is MK5 GTI verified! I hope the new Leon being based on the MK5 that it works the same (I haven't checked yet):

Only available on cars with climate control!

Changing Degree Temperature Display
Press and hold the recirculation button. Then press the temperature up ("+") button to switch between degrees Celsius & Fahrenheit on the Climate Control Temperature and Instrument Panel Outside Temperature displays.

Accessing On-Board Diagnostic codes
Press and hold the recirculation button. Then press the manual flow control up arrow. You should see a 1c. Press the temperature up ("+") or down ("-") buttons to select a code number. Then press the recirculation button again. The value should display. Press the temperature up or down button again to display another code.

NOTE: Air Flow Motor (V 71) and Potentiometer (G 113) are not installed in USA/Canada vehicles. Disregard values displayed for these components.

So far I can only confirm holding the auto button down for a few seconds switches between dual and mono mode. When in mono mode both temp settings are locked to the same value. Which is great if you the only one in the car.

Anyone managed to enable Vehicle Speed or any others? Think that one might be interesting/

Here it is in English

Hi all.
There suppose to be a secret key combo that triggers the special functions of the clima screen (engine temp, real speed etc) like in the previous Leon.

I found this pdf file but it doesn't seem to work apart from the AUTO x 3sec function that sets the dual zone into a "mono"-zone.

Is there anyone who has found the actual key combo?

CODES TO SEE THE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IN THE CLIMATRONIC BI-ZONE

How to activate

Start the car.
Press the ECON button and simultaneously press the “air upwards” button.
Stop pressing both buttons
Press “Temperature +” and “Temperature – “ this will move us in the main channels (29)
With “Ventilation +” and “Ventilation –“ we move in the secondary channels (29,1)
Press Econ to return to the normal functionality of the climate control.

Part of the possible codes:

* 1.0: Interior Temperature Centigrade (1.1 Temperature at the feet, 1.2 Temperature by the ceiling, the sensor is behind the grill)
* 4.0: Exterior Temperature Sensor 1, in Centigrade
* 4.2 Exterior Temperature Sensor 2, in Centigrade
* 19.0 Speed in km/h, in paces of 1km/h (10% less than indicated in the speed dial)
* 19.1 Engine Temperature
* 19.2 Spin Regime of the engine x100

Simultaneously regulate both zones of the Climatronic

Press for 2 or 3 seconds the AUTO button, this will activate the “AUTO” module so that the temperature sensor of the driver can regulate both areas. This is deactivated by pressing one of the buttons that regulates the passengers temperature.

Automatic Regulation of the volume according to the speed

1)Regulate the volume to the preferred level at a certain speed (for example 8 at 50km/h)
2)Enter the “prog” mode of the radio and select “scv”
3)Regulate the sensibility of the control (with the volume command) to low, medium or high.
4) Don’t use the volume manually again, or this will deactivate the automatic system. :)

Mono Temp works by holding down auto for a few seconds. Then use the driver side temp control (up/down) to control both sides. To go back to dual just use the passenger side temp control.

Anyone got any other functions working?

The SCV works as above, but adjusting the volume manually doesn't de-activate it.

Anyone know if there is a turbo temp reading available?

No, all of this is related to the A/C. These must be all of the variables the little climate control unit needs to regulate the temperature in the car.

Quite a complicated unit.

One of the first things my dealer showed me when I went to pick up the car, was that by pressing Auto for 3 seconds, the passenger temperature moves along with the drivers. Very useful feature.
